After completing a BBusSci at UCT, David moved to London where he spent six years at Deutsche Bank. Much of his work there was within the fixed income space. Upon returning to Cape Town in 2014, David completed a PostGrad in Sustainable Development at Stellenbosch University. This opened the door for David to work as an ESG research analyst at Avior Capital Markets, a role that married his economic and financial background with the postgraduate subject matter. After spending the majority of 2018 travelling through Europe, David joined Nedgroup Investments at the beginning of 2019 as a Senior Investment Analyst. As well as covering a number of equity and balanced funds, David is heavily involved in the Responsible Investment program.
