Mr. Lyndwill Clarke 

Head of Consumer Education at the FSCA

Lyndwill Clarke is a prominent figure in South Africa’s financial education landscape, currently serving as the Head of Consumer Education at the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). With a career spanning over two decades in the education and financial sectors, he oversees the implementation of strategic financial education initiatives. Before joining the FSCA (formerly the Financial Services Board) in 2006, Lyndwill established a strong foundation in academia and curriculum development. He served as a Mathematics Teacher and Curriculum Adviser for the Western Cape Education Department, followed by a tenure as a Chief Education Specialist at the Department of Basic Education. With a B.SC in Mathematics and a Master’s in Education, Lyndwill brings a data-driven and evidence based approach to financial education.

Internationally, he serves as a member of the Advisory Board and Technical Committee of OECD’s International Network on Financial Education (INFE), as well as IOSCO’s Committee 8 on Retail Investor Education.
